monitoring sip trunks with blf

I use blf to monitor the state of my extensions, I would like to monitor the state of a sip trunk (linksys 3102), is that possible?

I have tried to do it with sip trunks, but I wasn´t able to do it, what I did was to monitor dahdi trunks.
