Ok, please try to populate all the phone slots then.

Add for example as a test, 50 BLFs (can be the same one to make it easier) and see that the BLFs overflow flow the phone slots to the GBX20.

It needs to use up the ones in the phone and then it should populate the extension module.

I've already tried that. It never ends up on the EXT Module. See the attached screenshot of the config in the 3CX system.

Ok thanks, we will look into it further

We also have several GXP2170's deployed where there's an issue with the weather display that a firmware update will fix. But, 3cx isn't pushing the latest firmware on that model. If we manually update the phone, the 3cx system downgrades it back. Is there any way we could get the latest fw update pushed out for the GXP phones via 3cx?

You can upgrade them manually and then prevent the downgrade by deleting the firmware file in the right folder. See here : https://www.3cx.com/community/threads/delete-firmware-file.70525/post-311599

Please note though, that if you install a later version of the firmware your instance will become unsupported by 3CX as we have not tested that version and can assure you that it will work.

In case you face issues or unexpected behavior it may be best to keep our latest version until GrandStream provides us with an updated version.

They are facing the issues with the current latest 3CX firmware. Grandstream already released a new one to fix this but it's not "supported" yet. The current firmware has issues, check the GS Forums, there is about 15-20 threads for that.

Do you have an update on this yet? We deployed another 20 phones and it was a pain to manually key all of the EXT Modules in.

We have been in contact with GS since before Xmas and we are still waiting for a new firmware for the rest of the GXP series. They had some delay, but hopefully we will be receiving something within the coming weeks.

Thank you Nick. I logged a ticket with Grandstream through our Partner Portal and am seeing if we can bump their elbow on it. Hopefully they'll get this fixed sooner than later.

Regarding the link opening integration which there is a setting for and the Chrome extension still doesn't work for:

Hello Levi,

Beginning of February we might have a release that will include this feature if everything goes according to plan.

Thank you

It is almost March and the link opening integration for the Chrome extension is still not working. Any updated timeline as to when this is going to be activated? This is the only thing holding us back from using the Chrome extension.

Thanks!

Hello @Levi K ,

We are doing our best to release it as soon as possible. Some drawbacks delayed the release and we working hard. Stay tuned and soon we will have an update on this one.
