Move call webclient to smartphone

Hello,

Many of our customers ask me about the function of call recovery between the smartphone and the webclient application.

Is this possible?

Example, user 100 picks up his call from his webclient and wants to move his call to his smartphone.

This is a well known function, Teams, Mitel and many others are equipped with it, so I would be surprised if it is not available under 3CX.

For this you can park a call using parking Orbit, for example dial *01, to park the call from the webclient to parking orbit 1, then from the 3cx app on your mobile, dial *11 to pick up the call from parking orbit 1.

Thank you for your feedback, I have already studied this solution but it forces me to make a transfer and to cut the communication with the interlocutor which is problematic.

My goal is to recover the call without putting it on hold.

We use other systems where a call recovery is done without transfers.

I have searched the forum a lot but it seems that this function does not exist, at least on the last post I found.

Then there no way to move a call from one endpoint to another on same extension. Only option is parking.

You could enable "Accept multiple calls" on the Extension and just transfer the call to your own extension number.

Yes, thank you, I have tested this solution too, but it does not work.
If a user gets an extra call when transferring to himself, he may pick up the wrong call.
This is a situation that has already happened.
Also, some people just don't want to receive multiple calls.

Our users really like to transfer calls to themselves, but they don't like the function of receiving multiple calls at the same time. it would be great if it was possible to transfer calls to yourself, without having to enable the ability to receive multiple simultaneous calls from other users.

Hows about creating a dummy extension that forwards calls to your ext.

Create a BLF and then when user is on the go they transfer the call to dummy ext which will ring them.

if they need more time to get the app out, send it to a queue.
