Moving from Axterisk to 3CX

Hi,

I've been using asterisk PBX for a few years and have just install the beta v6 of 3CX.

I am amazed how easy it has been to setup and replace my asterisk setup.

There are however two items that i haven't been able to find/setup.

1. A place to add names to CLI numbers. So that in the voice mail e-mail or logs names appear.
2. Some inbound rules to reroute calls based on CLI.

Any thoughts.

1-not built in. But...with the new microosft access based reporting tool you could easily make such a report.
2-we are waiting on this...check out the "feature request" forum.

Thanks for the responce.

1. I understand that i can use the access tool to create reports. But not to put names into the voice mail e-mails.
2. Been waiting a long time for it then as post in the feature request were dated 2006. I've got the latest beta and no sign of it yet.

Thanks for the nice feedback!

Inbound rules based on Caller ID is scheduled for v7 (some time in Q3 of this year) It will be part of the commercial edition....

Names, have not thought about it yet but will be on feature request list
