Multi-Tenant Extensions - Can Departments share the same Extension Numbers?

Hello All,

Multi-Tenant needs to be installed on an existing 16SC Pro or Enterprise instance(?)

As we understand it when you set up a Multi-Tenant system it is really just a single instance with different Departments(?)

The Departments can have different Trunks assigned to them and the different DID's that are assigned to those trunks have to be entered for each Department.

So... The Service Extensions are shared across the entire instance? What happens if we have multiple FAX extensions?

Can extension numbers be reused in Different departments? (We have multiple clients that use the same dialing format, (XXX), and happen to have the same extension numbers, (101, 102, 103...)

We have a lot more questions as the Multi-Tenant instructions are very basic,,,,

Think of this like the 3CX SMB Pro.

The extensions are not shared between tenants.

Anyone who requires the advanced functionalities and their own numbering should remain, or be deployed to a dedicated instance.

This is to help you get the very small customers who dont have much requirements onto 3CX>
