Multicast On hosted 3cx

I am unable to find the option to enable multicast under users >> phone provisioning. however I do have a ring group setup for multicast. I am wondering our pbx is hosted and not same network does that matter? phones are set with SBC. open to suggestions. currently using paging and it takes 5 seconds minimum for all phones to connect looking for something instant.

You cant use multicast on a hosted instance, its something for on a local network

Thanks for the reply what you recommend I do client is asking for something like multicast. Paging is too slow to connect.

would it work if I hosted the pbx on self-hosted cloud and vpn site to site ?

Good point! If you have a site-to-site VPN, the PBX would, for all intents and purposes, be local to the phones and multicast should work.

We offered the client to move the server on-perm they said They can wait 5 seconds to connect.
