Can the 3CX windows softphone recieve multicast pages? I can't find any settings for it anywhere.

I would say no - although I am wondering if anyone has created a Multicast listener for Windows as an external product?

I'd be curious to see this answer to this - we just implemented multicast on our SPA504G's due to the delay, out of sync, etc., and we love it. The problem is a fair number of us use the softphone as our primary phone.

I've done some research and haven't found anything yet.
I wonder if a Vb.net app could do it? http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.net.sockets.multicastoption.aspx#Y1559 and

We are on a custom yealink firmware that has a multicast listener for t38's.

Got a link to that Yealink firmware? We have a T38G that I thought it would work on, but soon found out not the case...

Yealink has posted a new firmware that for the T38 and T32 that supports multicast paging.

they have? they told me June. what version?

oh - wait - found it in their forums - but not published on the Yealink Support Site:
http://forum.yealink.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=189&page=2

this is my template info:
Code:
memory11.Line = 0
memory11.type = 1
memory11.Value = 239.0.0.1:50001
memory11.DKtype = 24
memory11.PickupValue =
memory11.Label = PAGE

Code:
[ cfg:/phone/config/vpPhone/MulticastPage.cfg ]
ListenAddress1.Label = PAGE
ListenAddress1.IPAddress = 239.0.0.1:50001
audio.PayloadType= PCMU
ReceivePriority.Active = 0 #Barge
ReceivePriority.Priority = 0 #0=Disabled, or 1-10

The Yealink forum shows another configuration that worked... I wonder if they both work or if they rewrote the Multicast feature.
