Hi,

Hopefully I'm posting this in the right place.
Our company had a facility on our previous Avaya system whereby they had an audio conference facility, that allowed users to dial a number and specify a "room" when they wished to join a conference call.
I've managed to set up a single audio conference call which seems to work ok, but I can't figure out how to add additional "rooms" to that number.

Any pointers would be appreciated.

Thanks

If you are trying to create multiple Add-Hoc conference rooms from an IP Phone, follow the below guide:
https://www.3cx.com/blog/voip-howto/create-conference-using-desk-phone/ and increment the conference ID for each one.

If you are trying to create multiple conference rooms from the webclient, follow the below instructions:
  • From the webclient, go to "Meet" and click the "Schedule Conference" icon next to the + icon.
  • Then click on the + icon to create a new conference. If you select the "Later" option when creating a conference, you will be prompted to select a date and a time.
  • You can create multiple conferences for later dates, which will expire in the far future.
  • When creating a conference, you will be given the Conference ID to hand out to any users that need to join the particular conference.

Thanks,

I think I was making it more complicated than it needed to be. Thought I would need to set it up in the system management.

Pretty simple when you know how...

You are welcome!
We are glad to be of assistance.
