multiple conference calls setup

Hi,

We have configured 3cx so that ext 700 is linked to a DDI and the conference call works well. However, what if we want more than one conference call at any one time? do we just need to associate another DDI to the conference call settings?. I was a bit confused when I added the DDI as I did this in the security options then conferencing area and added it in there but also linked to the DDI to the extension number 700 as well. Is that the correct way to do it?

Hi Paul,

When you send a DID from your trunks or inbound rules to the conference extension 700, the caller is asked to enter a conference ID.

This is how you can have multiple conferences taking place as each one has its own ID.
