In Progress Multiple Phonebooks

Hi,

as discussed in the Boards (http://www.3cx.com/forums/post175146.html / http://www.3cx.de/topic/getrennte-firmen-telefonbucher/) - it would be nice to have multiple, seperated Phonebooks within 3CX. (V14)
Extension Group A got another Phonebook than Extension Group B, ...

We are also in the need for Shared Company phonebooks which can be split into different Depts
Eg Dept A , Dept B, Dept C Dept
The 3CX can be rolled out onto bigger scales with tenants/depts attached each having their own phone book.

Yes we have a client with projects spread across the country, it would be very useful if each project could have a communal phone book instead of the entire organisation sharing just one.

How is everybody filtering Contacts synced/pulled from CRM? The phonebook is an absolute mess and not useful to my users!

Not really useful to you but we dont use the phonebook that comes with 3CX. I have my users use outlook contacts or phonebook 2003 (most use the second one) because these can be set/distributed to those that need it only as our franchise managers and owners do not want the rest of the company to see their phonebook(s)
