Multiple phones from different locations on the same extension

Hi,

I have configured the extension that I require and have configured the first phone (GXP-1625) as local access, I have added another phone to the extension which is also a GXP-1625, the problem the second phone which I want to change the connection type to Direct SIP does not save when changing the config, MAC address etc revert back to the original configured handset.

If I try to delete one of the phones both profiles are deleted leaving me with only the 3CX config.

I have had a local and remote extension with Yealinks working before and since Grandstream are now supported I cannot see why you should not be able to achieve this.

The only things I didn't do is have them working in parallel (when I was off one site the phone was turned off). Adding should not be an issue however ensure you are running the correct version of firmware on the device: https://www.3cx.com/sip-phones/manually-provision-supported-grandstream-gxp/

Firmware is running the supported version 1.0.4.
Will double check all the configuration and re provision the extension if required.

Perhaps as a test delete and re-add the extension as well just in case.

Please note that should be able to add 2 of the same phones under the same extension even with different provisioning methods so i would recommend checking your configuration and make sure that you are using a supported browser.
