multiple proxy sites

If running the 3cx proxy tunnel at more than one remote site, connecting to the same 3cx server - would they be configured identically or do they need different port settings?

I seem to be having an issue where I can have one, or the other, remote site connected, but not both at the same time.

if the remote sites are at different locations and coming from different public ip addresses I dont see why they both cant use the same port.
