PBX support "indialog" and "outofdialog" notifications.
"indialog" means correct support of SUBSCRIBE for message-summary notifications by device.
"outofdialog" means ability of device to receive notification without subscription.
Finally, device (soft phone version) must support it
few pieces of information:
1. X-lite/eyeBeam works with "indialog" style if you tick "Check for Voice Mail" on Voicemail tab. You can specify voice mail server there and access to voice mail by clicking on mail icon.
2. Grandstream GXP2000 provides option like "subscribe for MWI", but it is not working correct, so turn it off because this phone support "outofdialog" and will work in this case.
3. Sipura(lynksys) (I forgot about exact model) has interesting logic, but it also works good with MWI,just play with option (if I remembered it uses "outofdialog" style so set "MWI subscription" option to off). Costas knows more about it.
4. Snom also uses "outofdialog" style, it should start right after you configure phone to working with MWI.
