All, I have an older set of Polycom IP500 phones that I have been able to provision fairly successfully thus far with 3cX. Voicemail, generally, is working fine, excepting that there is no message waiting indicator on the phone, or tone that is presented when the handset is lifted, when a voicemail is received. Also, when you select the 'messages' button on the keypad, it does not indicate that there are any messages waiting.

Is there a way to do this?

I am using the free/evaluation version of 3cX currently.

Thanks,
Randy

Thanks Matt .. what commercial version is it supported in?

Is there a way to at least get a warble tone or something on handset pickup to tell someone a message has been received?

Thanks,
Randy

Any of the paid versions support MWI, the "free" version is not really intended for production systems with key features like MWI missing.

If you gave legit details when you downloaded 3CX, you should have been emailed a code for a 2 consecutive call "paid" licence.

This key enables all the features of the paid version (inc MWI) but only allows 2 consecutive calls.

Yes with the demo key, you will get full features enabled for evaluation.

Thanks guys, for the help!

In the free edition, I believe I have 4 simultaneous lines, correct? So the choice is 2 simultaneous lines w/ MWI, or 4 simultaneous w/o MWI ...

I do have the key, if I choose that direction ...

Thanks,
Randy

You have 4 sim calls
However you have no features. So no MWI

Now you have a demo key which will reduce the lines from 4 to 2 but will give you full features to evaluate them.

In the Free Edition you get 4 Sim Calls.

In the Evaluation Edition you get 2 Sim Calls but Full Features.
