Need Linux Support for Simple Call Flow App

Good morning/afternoon/evening to all,

I had someone (I have reached out to him already) that built a simple call flow app that when dialed stated 3 lines of text to voice.
"Emergency Page From "
ReadWriteFile1.Result
" in *Insert Office name*"

IE. If my extension is 102 when i dial 801, the message plays on both my extension and the users who are in the ring group 851.
The message states "Emergency Page From Nick Test in Manhattan." This pages everyone in the same group. Right now its only 1 test user in that group, but ideally this would page a group of people with the same message above, but exchanging the name to whoever pressed that button.

I cant seem to figure it out as i am not a developer of any sort and would appreciate someone that understands more about the call flow designer and the LINUX version of 3cx. From my understanding this is somewhat easy but i appreciate anyone that can assist.

Also if this is allowed, i wouldnt mind outsourcing this work to someone if unable to receive free support from the forum.

Can I suggest we back up and review the end goal of this application? If I understand correctly, you want to program a BLF on your phone that when pressed calls a CFD application. The CFD looks at the extension of the caller, looks up their location and assigned group, then constructs a prompt using text-to-speech and calls the group extension and plays the message, If I understand the requirements, this is NOT a "simple" CFD application.

You have not mentioned why you are revisiting this application. Did you upgrade from V16 to V18? Are you wanting to change some of the logic? What is the problem you are trying to solve?

I apologize if I offended anyone. Coding isn't simple and I respect it. I understand and have used call flow designers before. Step 1 then do step 2, etc. logical if you will.
Basically all my office sites would like to dial an extension that pages people in that office group at that respective site, states the message "Emergency Page From *insert the name of the person pressing the ext* in *Office site name*", then hangs up. This alerts other staff in that office one of the office rooms needs help.
Use case: Lets say this is a kids doctor's office and a child become unruly in one of the doctors rooms. The doctor would like to press this extension that pages the group for that office site the message above, so that other doctors can come to the room to minimize damage to the room.

We do have a text alerting system that goes to all employees but this is more used for wide spread information like a certain office is closed due to weather. That would be system wise knowledge. A patient is unruly in office site A, the people in office site B 100 miles away dont need to know or most likely care.

The app was built on version 18 and built originally in Linux. The person that built it is no longer with the company and was doing it as a side hustle and has been unsuccessful in my attempts to reach out.

Thank you for explaining further the purpose of the application. By the way, I was not offended My only intent was to set your expectation that this is not a straightforward application. While conceptionaly a CFD is typically a series of steps, in this case, the steps are fairly complicated.

You have not mentioned what is wrong with the CFD application. What caused you to reach out to us in the forums? Is something broken or are you just looking for someone to take over the on-going care of the application? How can we help?

Yes it would be helpful to people to know the why. I have all the base project files, settings, etc. but don't know how to build this. When i attempted to duplicate it to say mimic another office number, it successfully picked up both sides, but failed to play the voice message. On the ONE that was working, it got overwritten when i uploaded the second one, even though i named them different in every spot that i could find. Essentially the person who left needed to duplicate it 15 times, one for each time. The source files that i have aren't the working one. Now i have no working one but have the base files again. I'm attempting to retrieve it via a backup of 3cx.

Update: I have the 3cx backup but the call flow apps arent in there (or at least not immediately finding it) i did find the folder however but it just has a "Beep" wav file in it.

Oh boy... you can't recreate the CFD application from the files that get uploaded to the 3CX server. We need the original CFD source project.

Which I have all the files i believe. Im asking to see if anyone has any coding/CFD/Linux background to be able to understand why it isnt working or basically start from fresh.

Yes, as im sure that you can understand that i wouldnt blindly send my files to a random person on the internet. I meant that i reached out to you via email to build a communication line so that we can take this offline and setup a remote session to help me.
