Need some help on outbound rules

Hi,
i'd like to well understand how to set proper outbound rules in that use case:

PBX is hosted cloud in a country A, a sip trunk from supported provider is set for country A , Group A extensions are behind SBC in country A, they need to call in country A most of the time

Now, a new trunk is added from same supported provider but for country B, Group B extensions are behind SBC in country B , they need to call in country B only most of the time


How to set in right order the proper outbound rules granting calls for each Country A and B ?
E164 settings do they need to be set for A country?
Allowed country code need to be ticked for A and B at least ?

is there some example or 3CX Docs or video ? I have only found usual case but not something explaining this.

This all depends on your needs and requirements and what restrictions you want to implement. It also depends on your dialling format and the length on numbers. For your needs you will need several outbound rules to completely cover all the bases. Remember that the system reads the outbound rules from top to bottom and will use the first outbound rule that matches.
For your scenario lets assume that Country A is the UK (+44) and Country B is France (+33)



The above outbound rules allow each group to call their through the provider of their own country (bottom 2 rules)
It also allows the UK users to call French numbers using the French provider and the French users to call UK numbers using the UK provider for economy purposes.
There is also a general rule for international calls that will use the most effective provider.

Of course this is just an example. You will need to adjust them based on how you dial numbers and what other needs you have. You could also add other outbound that restrict certain users from making calls etc.

You will need to allow calls to at least the 2 countries you will be calling and i would disable E164 since the PBX will be used in 2 counties.
