New 3cx windows App sends users to the web app to chat

I began to upgrade our staff from the chrome web app to the new windows app. Reading about it, it was described as being like the mobile app. But the chat button is hidden on every install I have, and sends users to their browser to chat. When we found this out, our staff elected to go back to the chrome app. But they really wanted a stand alone app like the windows app used to be. Is this going to change? Is there a way to have chat in-app?

This is apparently by design as the Store app is meant to be only a phone.
