new Azure VM: backup newer than the PBX version

Hi,

I've installed a new azure VM and will migrate 1:1 from an older azure VM...


while uploading the backup file I got:

The backup version 18.0.5.415 is newer than the PBX version 18.0.4.965. You can restore this backup only with PBX version 18.0.5.415 or newer.


is this a joke ... how should I import an existing backup to a new VM - when VM instance is older than backup instance
can't the VM no automatic upgrade while importing backup?

how can I solve this issue?

Hello,

In this case you can complete the installation without restoring the backup, update the PBX to the latest service pack then restore the backup post-install.
