Mine downloaded ok in Chrome. And no detections found in the .msi with ESET AV Scanner (haven't installed it yet though).

Hello,
some 3CX domains have been flagged by Google due to the previous version of desktop app (please send me your domain in a pm) and this is probably the reason why your download is marked as dangerous by Chrome. We've contacted Google to review and remove the flag from these domains.

just noticed on windows pbx DL and install are slow to apply to compare to debian's one

on one windows pbx , I did install manually 3 times and thought it was not applying but with a while I found it installed

Can you make this available for Update 6 as well please as we are not comfortable putting update 7 on just yet but have macs affected.

Can you also make it clear on Management console which version is currently installed as with auto updates we cannot see, I know its auto update but tech will be tech.

@johnthornstone we reported a false positive to K7 earlier today, waiting to hear from them

Well done on getting this released @Nick Galea and team

Some users had not uninstalled the app.
Is a simple update sufficient or should they uninstall and reinstall the application?

@dougkinzinger @Nick W Thanks for the heads up!
@Phil-TIC Well, i would uninstall, run anti virus clean and then re install. You can try what you said but of course its just one step riskier.

@johnthornstone K7 reverted and confirmed a false positive, the app is now whitelisted

Thanks for all the effort.
But I can't stop wondering why 3CX recommends using the PWA app instead of the new build electron app?!

Avast removing the ffmpeg.dll from all my clients PC's as Win32:SamScissors-A [Drp]

Not when installing but once it is running.
