New Dutch neural Voice Laura

This new neural voice is not yet available for selection. Since this voice greatly improves the quality I'd love to be able to use it in CFD right away.

Now I am downloading PCM in polly, converting it, saving it as,... seeing I made a booboo, getting back to polly, downloading,... etc. etc. etc. Tedious,...

Hello Tommie,

We're always adding new voices and speech recognition languages, so we will release soon a new version of the CFD listing this voice.

Meanwhile, please note that the drop down list of voices is also a text box, in which you can enter any text. This is intended for a case like this, where a new voice is released and it's not available yet, so you can manually add it. You should be able to use this voice if you enter this text:
Laura (Dutch, Female - Neural)

Please give it a try.

It works. Initially. Upon opening a prompt again it replaces this string with just "Laura" and saving that makes the whole thing crash (thinking its selecting Laura standard according to the log in 3CX

Error executing last component: Amazon.Polly.AmazonPollyException: This voice does not support the selected engine: standard

But it does get me going way more easily. Thanks!

Yes, that's correct, you will need to specify that value every time you edit the prompt. Until we include the voice with the CFD.
