Hi all,

I have installed brand new updated v16(up5/619) on Windows 10 Pro and all has been correctly finished (FQDN, SMTP, 4 digits, key...).
After few minutes install completed and I correctly received my credentials from 3CX by email.
But now, I can not connect to web client neither Public IP nor local IP ( https://10.250.253.190:5001/webclient ) :
- Tried Firefox (unable) / Chrome ( ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED)
- All 8 tasks 3CX services are up (task manager)
- Firewall Windows is full OFF for tests (public/private)
- Telnet test : 5000 & 5001 : connection refused
May someone have an idea ?
Thank you.

You need to connect over the internal IP via http and port 5000
https requires an SSL certificate, which is bound to the full domain name.

I tried both 5000 (http) and 5001 (https) but problem still same.
I have check that ports are correctly open and also to be sure I disable firewall with full private access.
Seems so bewildering

Hi,

I only work and try on local IP.
And both url give me same response :
- on 'chrome' : ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED
- on 'firefox' : Unable to connect
- on 'edge' : Sorry, unable to reach
:(

Always same issue, tried http and https...
Ports open and task running...

Check you check the services by running services.msc

These are the services that should be running

The '3CX Phonesystem Nginx Server' controls the web console, you may want to to restart it

You are running any other applications on this machine.

Antivirus is not affecting the machine, you need to exclude the following folders

C:\programdata\3CX
C:\Program Files\3CX Phone System

Hi !
I have all processes running except Nginx Server, you are right.
I tried to run it by 'right-click + start' but I have an error "Windows could not start this service Error 1067 : the process unexpectedly stopped"
It seems that the problem is there ?
Antivirus is off (as firewall) for the needs of installation, thank you for your tips to not include these folders, I will do it.

Hi,

nginx is required before you connect to the interface.

If it failed, there is something on the system that is interfering with it (perhaps something else running in the background that has reserved the ports 5000 and 5001).

So check all the current port bindings with netstat and ensure those ports are free.

Hi !
Thank you for your reply.
I have solved my issue.
The problem was a private SSL with my own FQDN not correct.
Good to know, if your own SSL is not well configured (client /master key), it is IMPOSSIBLE to have the nginx service running.
Thank you all guys.
