New iOS update, repeatedly reconnecting and beeping

Been 4 mths now.... can we pls have an update on this issue.

Okay, I think I got the jist of it now.

The app doesn't like roaming/channel change on Wi-Fi. On LTE, no issues if the signal is strong enough, however, it still recovers if we change antennas/zones.

As for Wi-Fi, roaming makes it recover as well as a simple channel change. On a 5min call, I lost 2min of recovering. It is getting unusable.

Facebook Messenger has no issues, my other VoIP apps has no issues and my Wi-Fi is optimized for voice. Also, using the Webclient on the Wi-Fi doesn't cut or lose audio.

This is clearly an issue with the app on iOS. Might have something to do with iOS 13/14 but it has to get fixed. I am stopping the use of this app for now as I keep losing informations during calls.

We have set up seamless wifi roaming (v,k,r) and there are no problems. I move around the premises, switching between access points and ranges (2.4 and 5) during a call. only occasionally can I hear beep for one second.

Customers are constantly complaining about this, great channel manged uncontended WIFI, everything is up to date including the 3CX app and latest iOS, come on 3CX support.

I can confirm the LTE issues in specific environments. (we have a underground parking lot which has a bunch of different "transmitters" for LTE and I can replicate the beeping issue.)

On Wifi, it seems to depend on the network. On my home router, the transition is instant, from wifi to LTE or LTE to wifi. (I dont even hear a single beep)

One thing I have noticed, in the event of any drops on wifi, the app seems to then "prefer" data for the remainder of the call.

I'm curious, on your problematic network, are you using meraki for the wireless?

We are having the same issue with different wifi. Mostly everybody using their home wifi experiences it. We'll try to disable Wifi roaming for now.

Still experiencing this issue on iOS 14.0.1
