New to 3CX. Setting up a new server.

I have recently deployed a new 3CX in my environment, but when I start the server, it prompts me for the root username and password. It never loads the 3CS software. What am I missing?

How did you deploy it? VMware, Hyper-V, physical? Or Cloud?

Also, what did you use for the install?

Hyper-V was the install host. I downloaded the ISO from the web site. It is the Debian install on a hyper-V host.

During the install you would have choose a password for install.

What happens if you browser to http://ip.address:5015 from a browser in the same lan?

During the installation, did you go thru the step as per info here https://www.3cx.com/docs/manual/installing-debian-linux-pbx/

It sounds like you're opening your VM after installation, and that's a good thing to do, but try to navigate to your internal IP of the PBX (ifconfig will tell you where to go), so https://internalip: PORTyouchose and it should load up the Management Console.

Also just to add to @Saqqara's post above, please pay special attention when installing on Hyper-V that you have installed NTP as per the guide to avoid time drifting:

As root or using sudo:

apt update
apt install ntp
