Hi,

I am new to 3CX and I have what I hope is a simple question. I have 3 analogue phones (1 fax machine and 2 Polycom conference phones). How should I connect these. From what I have seen so far I need ana ATA - question is what one should I get. I have seen the Patton SmartNode 4114 but they are quite expensive. Are there any other products which do the job and work with 3CX ???

Thanks.

You can try the LinkSYS SPA-3102.

It's what we test with here in the lab.

Thanks,

But doesn't that have only 1 FXS and 1 FXO port. I would need 3 ports. I see that the SAP2002 has 2 RJ11 ports.
Grandstream have the GXW4004 with 4 FXS ports, might be a better bet ??

The grandstream *should* be fine, but this has not been specifically tested.

Our approach here is to have a simple ATA such as the 3102 per device.

Thanks,

For the phones and fax you need FXO, the stuff that you plug into your wall plug.

FXS is for the lines coming in, the stuff you coming out of your wall plug

SPA3102 has one FXO and one FXS

H.

Thanks for the info, much appreciated. SPA3102 it is then.
