So just to clarify, you can log in to the Windows Store app using an extension number and password? But that does not work in the web client?

Many thanks for your patience.

Yes, i can register the soft phone from the app store using the extension assigned to the system owner but i cannot login to the webclient url using the same extension and password.

I also tried the trip to install version 18.0.9.31 but this fails as the licence key has been upgraded to only work with V20.

On a dark road here my only hope to avoid a clean install with the disruption that goes with it is to try the xml modification trick.

I am going to ask 3CX is they can downgrade the key to v18.

Have also asked if they can create the system owner email acount or send me an activation pincode but this does not seem an option.

I will be back to plead for most assistance.

Have you tried the web client from a different PC? (IP address)
