Core phone system, modern in architecture - reliable, secure and manageable.

Old School Telephony might not be in fashion, but it’s not going away anytime soon! Many organizations around the world rely on a good basic telephone system that will make that call when it matters. An emergency call to a front office desk at a hotel, a call f...

Can it still do custom holiday greetings?

This is really helpful in my industry to give me something to sell to the bars and restaurants that are my core customers. Particularly in a multi-tenant structure I see a lot of value for myself as a partner and for my customers. Great job 3CX!

Thank you for the heads-up! Yes you can use the Basic also for multi tenant ...

Another great release!
Great features and an amazing improvent from the Standard Edition.
Really like the "Your Basic Edition Questions Answered" section in the 3CX Basic Edition page too.
Very clear for the "smart" questions ;)

Thank you @N_G and 3CX Team!!!
Keep up the good work!

Brilliant News!

Thank you 3CX Team for all your hard work. This edition will allow us to cost-effectively deliver 3CX to a diverse range of customers who just need a secure, reliable phone system - and this market is very significant.

We also appreciate the ability to downgrade licenses on renewal if required.

Can Basic 16+ be run on windows? We have a few customers that run 3cx on a win11 pro sff pc because they are too cheap for cloud.

At one point 3CX said Windows installs would require Enterprise but I don't think that's been implemented yet.

They could still install Hyper-V on the PC though. Or just straight Debian...and then save the Win Pro license if they are cheap. :)

I think most of those Chinese NUCs on Amazon (Beelink etc.) come with Win11 Pro preinstalled and still manage to be incredibly cheap for the specs.

I think supporting an on prem installation is more difficult or expensive than cloud, push them to go to the cloud!
16SC is not a small office.

I’ve tried. Some of these customers date back to 2008 and change confuses and frightens them. At least they are up to date version wise. Cloud is absolutely the way. We hardly even deploy new to on Prem now except enterprises.

I presume once Update 8 is released when a new customer is added on the portal there will be an option for standard just like pro and enterprise right now and the trial information is the same? 8SC Standard for 30 days?
