No hold music with Snom M9 and 3CX

Hi

I have configured Snom M9 with 3CX and I can make and receive calls and transfer etc. The only problem so far is that when I put a call on hold using the M9, there is no hold music. I have configured 3CX to deliver audio but that hasn't made a difference.

I have configured a Grandstream GXP2000 to the same 3CX server and that plays hold music correctly.

Snom Firmware version = SIP=9.1.75 DCM=GLOBALNETFTCL14N20100611,JUL 01 2009
3CX version = 9.13545 with SP1

Any help will be sincerely appreciated.

Select "Server Type"->Opera 4IP. It should work then. See this:

i can confirm that this fix the issue, maybe you have to restart the base!
Still hoping for the day there will be a 3cx server type, or just call it RFC Server would be fine
