Oh I forgot..... My Phone service is with Centurylink, which was formerly Emabarq, which was formerly Sprint. But now I believe they were bought out by Qwest. Who can keep up with all of these company buyouts! My VOIP service is with VOIP.ms, but I am quite sure they have nothing to do with my problem as I only use them for outbound calls.

You say; Unless you want the phone plugged into the FXS port to ring without the call passing through 3CX, then this should be NO.

The 3102 has a lot of options. Many more than what the average user, will utilize. You have to keep in mind that it is actually two devices in one, an ATA, and a Gateway. however, there are options that allow these to crossover. When using the gateway and ATA with 3CX, you generally don't want this to happen. You want the trunk call to go into 3CX, and have 3CX handle it. If you choose to make use of the ATA, it would normally be set-up as a stand-alone extension. If you set the option to yes, then after a delay (another option in the 3102), the incoming call will ring the FXS phone directly if not answered by 3CX in the meantime. You had that delay set for 5 seconds going by the post of the 3102 PSTN options.

Did you ever try getting rid of the CID screening/routing, and just send all incoming calls to an extension , or a ring group?
