With the latest Fanvil Template (fanvil.ph.xml v 91549), there is no way to transfert a call to a contact from the phonebook.
With old templates/firmwares we are allowed to push on a soft key button 'Contact' during a attendee transfer to select the destination but with the latest template this soft key 'Contact' is gone !

For Fanvil X6 we have a solution because there is a hardware key 'contact' but for Fanvil X5S, there is no hardware key 'contact' so we need to get back this soft key...

How can I add this soft key "Contact" during a transfert ?

Another alternative is to enable the 'triple head' hardware key on Fanvil phones... This hardware key is not used and maybe we could assign phonebook to it but how to do that ?

More info :
3CX version : 16.3.676 on linux debian 9
Phones : Fanvil X5s firmware 1.12.2

I found a workaround...
I can add 'contact' softkey directly from the Phone UI :

It works but I have to find a better solution because I have to apply this to more than 300 Fanvil phones !!!
The best way should be to modify the 3CX template but I don't know what to modify in this template file...

Hi Bruno,

I checked in V15.5SP6 with the latest template and firmware for that specific PBX.

It does not give me that option, so not sure if it was there before and now gone. I see the following only:

Redial | 123 | <blank> | End

You can go to the phone Configurations tab however and download the config XML after you make your changes. compare that to the default the PBX provides and make your own.

Please note however, that in case you face issues and need 3CX support you will have to remove the custom templates and reset/reprovision without our own, because we do not support custom templates. You will also have to keep them updated manually whenever new templates are released.
