Hi,
I am testing 3cx Startup 10 user version. I tested windows SBC and it is working fine with two phones. Now I uninstalled the windows SBC and try to use Yealink T53 as router phone. I followed the direction by selecting Yealink T53 and enter the MAC address then reboot. It looks like provisioned but "No Service".

Anyone know how to make this router phone work?

Thanks,

Did you input the PIN to the router phone after rebooting? And check your IP isnt blacklisted.

@JohnS_3CX ,
Thank you for your reminder! Yes I have to update this phone to the required version. and it works!

This Yealink T53 comes with older firmware xx.84.0.xx and I have to follow Yealink's instruction to upgrade to 96.86.0.18 then 96.86.0.45. After that, I upgraded it to 3CX's 96.86.0.74. Then I assigned this phone as router phone and it got provisioned after rebooting.

Thanks!

With update 7 there is no more ext/pin requirement.

@afmjc FWIW I set one up remotely recently after their SBC started acting up. We realized the next day it had set itself up, all other phones were using it as their SBC and working, and the user/phone looked fine in 3CX, but that router phone itself needed one more reboot to connect to 3CX.
