Hello,

We've encountered a real problem since the "Send welcome email" button to users disappeared.

Previously, it was possible to simply resend the email so the user could create or recreate their Webclient/App password without affecting the rest of their configuration.
Now, the only available action seems to be "Reset password," which is completely unsuitable in many cases.

Indeed, this action also resets SIP credentials, which immediately causes phone disconnections, requires reprovisioning, and sometimes leads to more serious incidents, especially on provisioned DECT handsets.
In production environments, this can break perfectly functional phones simply because we want to resend an access link to a user.

As an integrator, we regularly need to resend this welcome email without modifying the technical credentials linked to the physical phones. The workflow, which was previously simple and risk-free, has now become a potentially disruptive action.

Is there a way to resend only the welcome email without resetting the SIP credentials?
Is this a deliberate change or an ongoing development that could be reviewed?

A separate button such as "Resend Welcome Email" would be very useful in a daily operational context.

Thank you for your feedback.

Use the "forgot password" on the web client login page.

The last time I tested, an existing Yealink desk phone reprovisoned successfully? That had been improved a year or so ago in one of the updates as I recall, and maybe DECT is different.

The DECT phones do not auto reprovision but a power cycle is usually all we need to do to get them to reconnect.

Possible only with a 3CX Config API / xapi REST call atm.

Here's a powershell script that can get you started.
