Noise using Mediant 1000

Hi,

I have a Mediant 1000 5.2 with 2 PSTN lines and a Linksys SPA922.

My problem is noise when going through the Mediant gateway. I have tried to set different values in voice control, Imput gain an packetization time , but it doesn't seems to help.

When I use my 3CX internal or through a VOIP supplier I don´t have problems with the noise.

What can I do to make it work?

Have you checked the line itself by connecting an analogue phone to it?

I have had a normal hardware pbx on the lines without any trouble. Is there any known problems connectiong a Mediant 1000 BRI 4 to the 3CX?

Mediant devices are untested with 3CX so we cannot report any problems at this stage.

But if the AudioCodes MP 114 is working then it should be possibel to use the Mediant. I know it is working with the AudioCodes MediaPack 40x.

Maybe anyone have tried the Mediant 1000 on the 3CX and have some hints ?

Hi, the reason for the noise was the G711U-law codes. The right on was the G711A-law.
