Hi,

I've reviewed your product's manual and it seems that the Nokia e61 supports what is called 'net calls'.

Firstly you will need to connect your phone to the network where your 3CXPhoneSystem is installed. This can be done through a Wireless network, as the e61 supports WLAN connectivity. Perhaps you have already connected your phone to you network in order to browse the internet, read mail and so on.

Secondly you need to register your phone with the PBX server. Simply create an extension in the 'Add Extension' page and configure your phone to use this extension. The e61 manual describes this process under 'net calls':

SIP settings go in in:
Menu > Tools > Settings > Connection > SIP settings

VoIP settings go in:
Menu > Tools > Settings > Connection > Internet tel. settings.

I highly recomend you read this small section in the manual. I cannot give you the exact entries for the right fields as I do not have a e61 handy, but feel free to post again should you encounter any further difficulties.

I've tried to register a Nokia E61 to 3CX server but it allways failed.

Remove security in Nokia and put empty password in pbx.

Nokia doesn't undestand Proxy Auth Request, so no pass in pbx = OK to the 1st request.

Attention: you can make outbound calls, but if you receive, E61 hangs after sending trying to PBX.

Still checking. My E-61 firmware is old...

E61(i) - baffled new user

Hi,
Can someone who has actually made an E61 work please give me the details of the settings used?
Also, how do I view the logs in the detail I see in previous posts?
