Not Found when calling 08xx numbers

Hi,

we have a problem whereby when we call any number starting 08 (ie 0870, 0845, 0871 etc) the phone beeps and says "Not Found 90871123456" (insert the number at the end there.

Is that likely to be a 3CX set up issue or an issue with the SIP trunk provider? I'm guessing the latter as we don't have any problems calling other numbers and they seem a bit clueless.

It sounds like some kind of call issue. Just to be sure and if they are available, Could you kindly post the detailed verbose logs so we may have a look.

Hi,

No problem, Im glad to see you asking. Ill break it down into steps.

1. From the 3CX Console > Settings > Advanced > Logging Level , please change the option to 'Verbose'.

2. Restart the 3CX machine.

3. Allow a couple of minutes for the 3CX server to initialise and ensure the required extensions and lines are appearing as registered before proceeding.

4. Reproduce the issue.

5. If you look at the management console, there is an option called "server activity log" 5th one down from "port trunk status".

6. There is a button at the top called copy selected text.

7. Come onto this forum and paste it here using [-code] and [-/code] tags removing the -.

This is causing us real issues now.

If calls through to other numbers work fine, and the format of the 08 numbers you are sending is correct. Then i would have to assume that your provider is blocking calls to those numbers. I would speak to them. 08 numbers are charged at a higher rate in the UK, are they not?
