Just wanted to see if there was a way to do the following, but I suspect not. I need to send the 3CX backup notifications to a specific email address which goes into our backup monitoring system Backup Radar, but all the other notifications need to come to our helpdesk. I can't see a way to choose to selectively send notifications to specific address. Best I can do is have all notifications going to two address, but this messes with Backup Radar and it creates unwated noise in our PSA.

You cannot selectively send certain notifications to go to a specific email address.

All notifications go to the System admin(s), with options to enable them to also go to the System Owner(s) and to selected emails.

I do not know if the following is a valid solution, however, the 3CX backup results in a file, and you know where the file will be stored. You could create a filesystem watcher application (we can help) that monitors for new files. This approach does not validate whether the backup is valid, but at least you would know a backup was created. You could look at the size of previous backup files and determine whether the new file is similar in size (as a partial validation).

I would suggest an exchange transport rule, that looks at the FROM Address and the SUBJECT. The subject for a successful backup should be unique enough that the transport rule should be able to detect and forward the email to the desired mailbox.
