I'm using 3cx with Skype Gate and have everything working well. Inbound ( calls to my skype ID ) and outbound to regular numbers via the gateway. There are a couple issues.
#1 when i make test calls to my cell or wifes cell, i can answer the phone and there is about a 3 sec delay before the call appears to be fully "connected" So the call usually starts when i'm on my 2nd to 3rd "Hello?"
#2 When I call an external conference line, the call is connected and the external line says "Please enter your conference ID" From my softphone I dial 123456789, and press #. The response I get is "The code you entered, 111223456789 is invalid." So the problem is the numbers I am pressing, 1 for example is getting sent through as 111.
Any ideas why the numbers are getting sent funky ? Or why the delay in the calls? I think if i go to Skype SIP Beta i can not use the gateway at all, will that resolve these issues?
