obi 110 and 3cx (fax question)

on every second ring I get a fax tone, Obi says this isnt coming from their device, I am not sure where it is coming from, I have turned off the 3cx fax service and the manual windows fax service and it is still occurring? does anyone have any idea why I get this tone?

What do you mean by this?

Between every second ring back tone toy hear a data tone? Every second call you get a fax type tone? Is something actually answering the line, the ringing stops?

Is the call reaching 3CX ?(check the logs)

Is everything else unplugged from the line, such as alarm systems?
