Can the Network Gateway be changed without causing problems?
I'm not asking about the IP of the 3CX box, just the network gateway. But, what if I want to configure & test everything, then take the system & the phones to the live location where the Network Gateway is different. 3CX IP won't change, just the gateway. Is this possible?
Specifically: Debian install, Gateway is 192.168.1.1 at test office, 192.168.1.254 at 'live' office. 3CX will be 192.168.1.200 both times.
Any best practices or strategies for pre-loading a system to be shipped to another office?

This should work fine - you obviously need to update the gateway address on the device that's moving from the test-office to production. For Debian, with static IP configuration just update /etc/network/interfaces accordingly and restart-networking or reboot to bring into effect.

Side note: If you're not using .254 at your test-office, consider adding it as an alias IP on your test-office router; This way, you can build using static IP config "as-production" fully tested and just move it out when ready.

Guess if there's that much concern about changing it and you are going through all this effort to test beforehand why can't you just add another device as the gateway in your test environment? Also since you aren't effectively testing the network which is where most issues arise you can just do a backup and restore and do a fresh install in the target environment with need to worry about changing the gateway.
