Ok... Let's talk about 3CX, your company and your model

Hi All;

I guess I'm a little disappointed that this thread ended up here. I've been personally tracking the progress of this customer as it relates to Deerfield support, and I was under the impression that we were making progress. A valuable feature request(s) was provided by Cloverlick, and a workaround was provided in the mean time. Personally, I am a believer in listening to the customer - even though I may not always agree, I remain respectful of their point of view.

Cloverlick - I guess what I would like to ask is that your decision to keep 3CX (as opposed to returning it) be made upon your experience with the product, your interaction with Deerfield.com, and the comments made by Nick Galea, 3CX CEO. Anyone else's opinions in this forum are not relevant to your purchase, and should be taken with a grain of salt. If either of Us (Deerfield or 3CX) has failed to meet your needs - then we will honor our promise to you.

Thank you for your business.
Mike Deerfield - CEO
Deerfield.com

Wrong. As usual.

This is about business, business models, revenue and overhead. This is about our concerns with a very recently aquired product. Namely, yours.

Business is also about choices.

Let me give you an example...

An agent of 3CX just told the CEO/Counsel of a one of your customers (the aforementioned $1400 purchase) to "walk away," in a public forum.

Done.

We'll be returning the product to Deerfield for a full refund... wherefore the 30 day "money back guarantee" provision in our contract does not expire for another thirteen (13) days.

Have a good one.

Now I am disappointed, as a CEO/Counsel of one of your customers and a copyright attorney, I would expect that you are able to keep things in context.
If you take a statement like my option 1 into isolation yes you are correct it does not sound to flash hot. (Sorry for that) but if you keep it in context I think it is a valid point.

Also what Mike Deerfield mentioned, this is a FORUM and initially setup to help people that have the FREE version of 3CX, any issues you have with either support, performance or feedback on the PAID software, you should use the DESIGNATED support channels for that.

As a CEO/Counsel of one of your customers and a copyright attorney I would have expected that you would understand that.

But for sure I am wrong again.

Further, re agent of 3CX, my statements, opinions and comments are my own. They are not reflecting the views, opinions of anybody else than my own and they should be threaded like that.

As you can see in my name (used on the forum) there is no reference that I am a 3CX employee, so as such I do not represent the company and for that reason my opinions, statements do not represent the view of the 3CX company.

My company, one of them that is, is distributor and reseller of the 3CX software, and as such operates as an individual entity and has no direct relationship with 3CX apart from the above mentioned.

Fortunately my customers and resellers are happy with the product and if there are any issues with the software they either contact me directly or use the designated support channels and it gets resolved in a professional and timely manner.

Hi Itfarmer,

No need to explain. You are a very much appreciated member of our community and your posts are polite and to the point.

I think your post was completely within context of this thread and i dont see anything wrong with it.

Hi Cloverlick,

We welcome customers feedback, and i believe we have shown to be responsive to it. You had some valid points which will be addressed.

However I think feedback can be communicated to us in manner respectful to all parties concerned including those of our valued community members.

Dear All,

I am a fan of 3CX PABX and I have gained my VOIP technical knowledge via studying 3CX product since it
