Under System > Voicemail, there is an option for "Calls transferred from voicemail will be routed here"
I want this to be a ring group, the only way i can think to do this would be to create a dummy extension, who's forwarding rules are to route to a ring group.
Is there a better way? Or perhaps it could be a feature request fr a future update?

Yes, that is the workaround, use the dummy extension and forward to the ring group, just avoid any call loop, like setting in the destination if no answer a voicemail again or the same ring group...
