Other extensions show as Private Number for user on Android app

Hi all

I have a user with a Samsung Galaxy S9 with v16.6 of the Android 3cx app
When receiving calls from other extensions in their organisation the CID shows as Private. This is after the app was reinstalled because numbers were showing as 'Unavailable' when calling
We have tested adding the extension to another phone and the CID displays the extension name and number as expected. They are in the same group as all other users in the organisation and have rights to see other group members. Unsure of what phone settings could be controlling this, has anyone else come across this before?

Hi @MWekeem,

Can you please check the app permissions on the Galaxy S9 device and also provide a verbose app log from the app so we can investigate further:
a. Go into the app's 'Settings', then 'Advanced' and enable the 'Verbose Logging' option.
b. When the issue occurs, use the 'Send Log Report', i.e. the last option in 'Settings'> 'Advanced'.
c. After you select the 'Send Log Report' option, you can now disable the 'Verbose Logging' option.
Send this log report to me via PM.

Thanks for the reply. We have Allowed all permissions for the app (Camera, Contacts, Microphone, Storage and Telephone)
I am sending you a PM now with the log sent to me by the client, thanks again for the help!

We weren't able to reproduce the issue you described, but it could have been a misunderstanding - can you explain more detailed what "the CID shows as Private" means? We plan to release the Android client by the end of this week so it will be good to know if this is still an issue. If you want, I will send you a build by PM to check, only let me know.
