Hi,

I have setup self - managed 3cx on MS Azure- UK WEST
SIP trunk with Twilio setup.
Installation is done by the book, Inbound calls work fine, outbound is not working.

I have tried to the following:

1. Process E164 Numbers - unticked the box
2. In outbound parameters - In the field From Host Part , from defaul changed to Custome IP Range and addedd the IP address from Networking.
3. In Outbound rules i have played arround and used different rules and nothing has been working. Just Failed Calls.
4. Firewall check Status is Green

2 mobiles are set for testing extension: 1000 and 1001.

Anyone can help with the settings, maybe i am missing something? Can this be the issue that i am testing at work, even if i switch the network to hotpost and used 4G data on both mobiles as extensions? Thank you in advance.
Regards, VC

I would first check the 3CX Activity Log to see if the call is being sent to the provider, and, if the provider is responding with an error message. That message may help you determine what is wrong. It could be the number format you are sending, or it could be the caller ID, that they don't like.

First make sure the call is even reaching them.

You should not need to change this so I would recommend putting back the default value that was included in the template.

Twilio is an IP based trunk so no registration is required and the trunk will always appear green because of that.

Have you followed the Twilio guide on setting up the trunk with 3CX?

Hi YiannisH_3CX,

Thank you for your reply. I changed back, but i have tested with both, defauld and Custom IP range and no success.
I have followed the Twilio guide to setup the 3cx trunk - Yes. I have now used a mobile number, which i have verified the called id in twilio so making sure all is verified.

What outboud rules should i added in 3cx for United Kingdom? These are mine below.

This is what i found in Twilio:

Error - 32201

SIP: Source IP address not in ACL

Possible Causes

  • Authorization failure - source IP Address not in ACL (Access Control List).

Possible Solutions

  • There is an ACL on your trunk and you are sending us INVITE requests from an IP address not on that ACL. Either fix local routing so that you are sending us SIP from an address already in your ACL or add this other address to your ACL.

Hi again,

i have used different IP in my twilio settings and i have changed it now and its working.
Thank you all for support.
Much appreciated.
