Outbound Caller ID question

I have a two voip DIDs and I will be adding a third soon. Is it possible to have all outbound calls show the same 10 digit number (the first of the three in this case) regardless of which one the SIP trunks the call goes out on?

I understand from the voip provider that, for e911, the outbound caller id and the actual trunk number must match so I want to write an outbound rule that covers that. But, for all other calls I would prefer the same 10 digit number be sent regardless of which trunk gets used.

Is this possible?

In most cases, unless you specify (datafill) the outgoing DID, against an extension, then the "main" number, associated with your account will be sent. There are outgoing trunk options that select where caller ID is taken, but unless you are attempting to send individual DIDs, then the one number should be sent. You will have to confirm that it is working as you desire. If by "trunk" you mean a channel on one trunk group, then you cannot set the number of each as if each were unique.

The sending of caller-ID on lines which it is not associated with is also reliant on whether that provider supports Clip-no screening. In short what you are wanting to do is spoof the caller-id and for reasons of security and authenticity you may see less of this sort of support with replicable providers.
