According to 3CX this is by design, so I'm curious if anyone else has experienced this before...

Scenario:

Sangoma A101 connected to a SIP-delivered PRI (Telepacific Smartvoice)
Using the MakeCall function and the outbound callerid displayed on the phone I'm calling says only the area code, which is the only thing my provider can send if I don't send any callerid.

Is there anyway to make the MakeCall function send out callerid or possibly work around it using the NetBorderExpress to send out callerid if 3CX does not.

Have you set a caller ID on the VOIP provider settings?

David,

I am using a Sangoma A101 PRI...no voip provider. There is an outbound callerid set for the Sangoma, but it does not work if the call originates from the "MakeCall" function.
