Hi,
i' just setup debian v15, my trunk host is Cyta and have 2 numbers, the 1st is the registration number, how can i set extension calls goes thru out from the 2nd number ? i do this for incoming with DID but can not do that same for outgoing calls.

Thanks in advance.

Hi

Try Selecting
SIP Trunks
Go into trunk and select
Configure Outbound Caller ID

Hope this helps. As always please test configuration change.

So you have 2 DIDs? Is that correct?

One is the registration number, what does that mean?

You do what with incoming DIDs, exactly?

If you can be more specific with your posts, many more people can help share their knowledge with you.

Yes 2 DIDs = ( 2 numbers), i want : when i doing outgoing calls from the specific extension to go from 2nd DID number. and all other extension from default 1st DID number

Hi
Select Extension once in there in the
General tab
add the your 2nd number to
Outbound Caller ID

This will present the number on outbound calls. If left empty it will present the Outbound called ID set in SIP Trunks.

As always test your config.

i ready try this but still call from 1st number..

FYI : i have Outbound Rules where i have roule to do outgoing call from main trunk ( where the main number is the 1st DID

Hello @Givigos

First of all you need to know if Cyta supports this functionality or if you can only present your main trunk number as your caller ID. So as a first step i would recommend calling your Provider and asking them if this is supported and if so, where do they read the caller ID from.
When you know that you can navigate to your Trunk settings / Outbound parameters and set the parameter Cyta mentioned to "Outbound Caller ID taken from extension settings"
The PBX will send the number that is set under the extensions Outbound caller ID to Cyta.

Hi Yiannis,
just spoke with Cyta and they said that is support this function ( to do outgooing calls from second number - MSN) and caller is "invite from"

So if you navigate to your Trunk settings / Outbound parameters and set the parameters "From : Display Name" and "From : User Part" to "OutboundCallerid" the PBX will send the Outbound caller id that is set under your extension settings. If there is not outbound caller id set there then the PBX will send the main trunk number.

Hi Yiannis, yes now is working ! the issue was the "From : User Part AuthID Authentication" . Thanks a lot !

Glad to see the issue has been resolved and thank you for updating the thread with your solution.
