Outbound calls rejected

Hi - I have no issues with internal calls andeven have uplink working for skype to 3cx inbound. However when I make outbound calls I get the following rejections.

19:16:02.355 CallConf::Rejected [CM103005] Call(90) is rejected: Invalid password provided
19:16:02.355 StratInOut:nCancel [CM104008] Call(90): Call from Ext.1001 to 1919xxxxxx terminated; cause: 403 Invalid password provided; from IP:192.168.1.125
19:16:02.264 AuthMgr:nAuthFailure [CM101000] Registration request from sip:[email protected]:5060 failed. Reason: Credentials don't match, check that authorization-ID and password match the ones in extension settings
19:16:02.264 AuthMgr::requestCredential [CM001005] Message SipReq: INVITE [email protected]:5060 tid=0334985ea429ec0e cseq=INVITE [email protected]:5060 / 2 from(wire) failed authentication!

Please let us know which gateway (Brand and model) in use. Refer to the system log. It should be the virtual extensions unable to register. Please check both side setting at gateway and 3cx pbx's gateway setting.

192.168.1.125 - is it IP of PSTN gateway? or PBX?

I have the skype uplink skype2sip gateway setup as a PSTN Gateway. 192.168.1.125 is the PBX and the gateway. Should the PSTN gateway be setup on a vitural ip address of the machine, since the pbx and gateway coexist ? It is routing calls inbound fine from skype to the extension (1000) in this case.

As far as i can see it pretends to be ext.1001, not 1000. Check matching of usernames (auth. id) and passwords in the settings of PBX and Skype gateway.

I got it working on another system, I will reload 3CX tomorrow and see if my theory works I believe the answer is in a pre-pend but will let you know soon.
