Outbound CLI

Hi

We have a customer who would like to present different outbound CLIs at will by pressing a button or dialling a code etc.

The runj 2 different businesses from the same office and want to send the correct CLI for the correct company making the call

Is this possible?

Can't seem to find an easy way to do it

Is the SIP you are using IP or Account based?

Unfortunately I am not sure there is any way to do this with account based SIP.

If you can swap to IP based:

Create a 2nd SIP trunk with the same details as the main one and change the SIP headers as per below:


Create an outbound rule so when the user dials a 9 before the number it will strip 1 digit and send it out over the SIP trunk you just created.

OK thanks, I was coming to the conclusion we would need another trunk.
I see yours is on Voiceflex?
We are using Voiceflex also, account based.
can we still do this with 2 account based trunks?

If you are using voiceflex you can change it to IP based for no additional charge, and remove the need for a 2nd trunk. You can create 2 SIP trunks on 3CX whilst only having 1 trunk on voiceflex.
