Hi, every time I make a call from any of the extensions, the outbound caller ID is incorrect (it shows the first extension number's firstname and lastname i.e: Bob Marley, instead of my name) When I try to add a caller ID to an extension, I'm no longer able to make outbound calls.

Any suggestions?

When you configure the extension's outbound caller ID, it must be (DIGITS only -- no characters, dashes, etc.) and some SIP carriers require the number be in their inventory.

It may be that your provider only allows certain numbers/names and if you attempt to change those, the call is rejected. You can confirm what message is being sent back, from your provider, after a failed call attempt, in the Activity Log. You may also want to ask them if they permit you to send different numbers and which field that is taken from. The outbound CID parameters can be changed, on the trunk group, but can cause problems if you are not careful.

Hello @Ariel Sashcov

Your provider probably does not support this function or it is a separate paid service. I would recommend contacting them first and asking if what you are trying to do is possible and supported by them .
The fact that the name of your first extension is always displayed could mean that either that name is set under the trunk settings or its the name the provider has saved in their database as your caller ID and are always sending that.
