Outbound Override Setting 411 = 15551212

I'd like to create an outbound route that can be used by anyone dialing 411. When dialed, the outbound route would actually call a 1541XXXXXXX number. I attempted setting up and outbound route, with 3 digits, dialing 411, then removing the first 3 digits and then replacing them with the 11 digit outbound number, but this fails.

Is there an easier way to achieve this?

In theory, the should work just fine. I use something similar to create 3 digit "speed call" numbers. What does the 3CX log show during one of these calls. that should point to the problem.

Are you specifying that the outbound rule is 3 digits long? Does the call actually route to the trunk group? If so, it may be an issue with that particular number and your provider.

Thanks. I found out the issue was actually with the dialplan on the SNOM821. It worked fine on the Panasonics. I'll need to fine tune the SIP dialplan as it ignores the outbound order rules... :O
