Outbound rules in MCM

We are having issues with Outbound rules. We have a Dinstar UC2000-VE gateway with 8 SIM codules. AFter the update we realised that all the outbound calls are going through a single trunk even though there is no rule to allow that trunk to be used.
Example:
Call to Numbers with prefix 02,03,04
From Extension 02107
Route 1 = gateway 03

It is routing thtough gateway 01 which does not add up.

• All Outbound rules have the same prefix, but different Call from Ext values.
• All the Outbound rules have different routes
• The system ignores the Call from extension and uses the prefix hence the topmost rule takes priority over the other rules.
• 
  
• If Extension 02017 maikes a call, the system routes the call using rule (AdminGH) insteag of rule (Lord). This means the extension parameter is ignored.
• If we move rule (Lord) above all calls go through that rule despite the Call from Ext parametre.

Are these extentions in the same department and is the department selected in "Calls from Department" in each of the rules?

If so then try removing the department from the rules (leave that box blank), just fill in the "Calls from extension(s)" condition in the rules as you seem to have done, then test again.

Your solution worked but then what happens to the rule. I am in MCM mode so my worry is that is is regarged as a universal rule and not departmental. I hope that makes sense. Hopefully, the team will have a look at this going forward to make it more granular

It can't be treated as a universal rule if you've resticted it to specific extensions. However if you also fill the "Calls from Department" box it applies to all extensions in that department.

Think it's only "Calls from Department" OR "Calls from extension(s)", the other conditions in Outbound Rules are AND
